London Film Festival Screentalks

Oscar-winning Marion Cotillard is a welcome addition to the LFF programme.

Is somebody from the BFI listening to me?  If not, they’re reading my mind …….

In my preview of next month’s London Film Festival, I bemoaned the diminutive nature of the Screentalks strand – a grand total of two.  Having checked the website, I see that there’s another one – and a quality one at that.

French actress Marion Cotillard, who won an Oscar for her portrayal of Edith Piaf in La Vie En Rose, takes time to talk about a career that also includes the recent The Dark Knight Rises and Rust And Bone, which is in competition at the festival.  Her appearance is on Sunday, 14 October at 3.30 pm.

Advance booking for BFI opens this Thursday, 13 September, at 9.30 am, with tickets becoming available to the general public on Monday, 24 September.  For more information, visit
