Don’t be fooled into thinking that there’s anything romantic or mystic about the title Prince Avalanche. Director David Gordon Green has admitted that it doesn’t really mean anything: he just liked the sound of it when it came to him in a dream.
So is the film, which stars Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch two workmen painting traffic lines down the centre of a seemingly never-ending Texas road, any more mystifying?
My review on Filmoria, http://www.filmoria.co.uk/2013/10/prince-avalanche-review-2/, should shed some light on that.
Prince Avalanche is currently on in cinemas.
