On This Week’s Talking Pictures …….

One heck of a double act ......

One heck of a double act ……

Hear it here first!  I’m predicting more awards success – especially for Charlotte Rampling – for British drama 45 Years on this week’s Talking Pictures.  And I’m reviewing the film, of course!  A newly restored version of classic Ealing comedy, The Maggie, is out on DVD, together with Disney’s lavish live action version of Cinderella.  Plus there’s the new top five at the British box office and a look ahead at the line up for the Venice Film Festival, which starts next week.

Your essential guide to the movies is packed into less than 20 minutes and an absolute must for picking the best Bank Holiday viewing.  It’s all in this week’s edition of your essential guide to the movies – and it’s all packed into under 20 minutes.  Listen on iTunes, TuneIn and on SoundCloud.

Don’t forget you can stay up to date with Talking Pictures by liking the official Facebook page and by following me on Twitter, @TheCoopsReview.

And time’s running out fast to vote for the show in the UK Podcasters Awards, so if you’ve not shown your support yet, now’s the time to do it!  The closing date is Bank Holiday Monday, 31 August.  If you have voted, a very big thank you!
